Who We Are

The Soplo de Glória Church is a non-profit evangelical institution dedicated to proclaiming the gospel, fostering disciples, social innovation and humanitarian aid to disadvantaged people around the world.

Our History

Founded in 2004, Iglesia Soplo de Glória began as a small community project and has grown into an international network of volunteers and partners committed to making a difference.

Our Mission

Our mission is to raise up a generation of disciples for Jesus, focused on winning people to Christ, strengthening them in the faith, discipling them according to the Word of God, and sending them out to serve, sharing the gospel with love, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and with commitment to the vision of Jesus. We believe in forming disciples who give their lives for others, who live in community through Friendship Groups, and who are instruments of the power of the Holy Spirit to transform their environment.

Our Vision

A world where every individual, regardless of their birthplace, has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, unique, infallible, authoritative, and inspired by God.

2. The Trinity
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29, Matthew 28:19

3. Jesus Christ
We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
Matthew 1:23, Acts 1:9-11, Acts 2:22

4. The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the blessed hope of the rapture of the church and in the personal return of Christ in power and great glory to reign for a thousand years.

References: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 20:6

5. The Sin of Man
We believe that humankind was created good and upright, but through disobedience fell into sin, thus bringing sin into the world and, with it, physical and spiritual death.

6. Salvation
We believe that the only hope of salvation for humankind is found solely in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, through repentance and faith in His name.
Acts 4:12, 1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 1:7-9, Titus 2:11

7. Church Ordinances
We believe in water baptism by immersion and the Lords Supper as ordinances established by Christ.

8. Divine Healing
We believe that Christ provided healing for the human body through His redemptive work on the cross.

10. Sanctification
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in believers, enabling them to live holy lives.

11. Resurrection and Final Judgment
We believe in the resurrection of all: the saved to eternal life and the lost to eternal condemnation.
John 5:28-29

12. The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, with a divinely established ministry. Its purpose is to evangelize the world, worship God, and edify believers to grow into the image of Christ.
